Thoughts and Things
Rose McGowan in Robert Rodriguez’s Planet Terror.
Both Planet Terror and it’s fellow Grindhouse segment Death Proof feature amazing, strong and ballsy women who aren’t afraid to show the men that they’ve got it. McGowan’s character, Cherry Darling, transforms from a slightly pissed off go-go dancer to a “semi-automatic-wielding, bad-ass heroine of humanity”. Basically, her amputated leg is replaced with a huge machine gun and she’s gonna show her guy, the zombies and herself who’s boss. Fierce.

Kate Moss for Allure, April 1997Photographed by Drew Jarrett
Kate is such a fierce bitch. She believes in herself wholeheartedly; she doesn’t believe that she possesses any “flaws”; she backs herself 100%.
This photo not only shows her sex appeal but also her “I-don’t-give-a-fuck” attitude. You can try and touch her, but you’d have to pray like fuck to come out of it alive.

"You’re done for, boy"

This photo is just everything you could want in a photo. The photographer (Michael Donovan) has captured a real moment of anguish and pain, and thus also captured the subject’s (Jacqueline Oloniceva) incredible beauty. I hope to one day be able to describe this pain and beauty through words.
I do have to say, though, my favourite part of this is that she doesn’t just look sad, she looks pissed and like she’s gonna do something about it.

Escape with friends or with your closest enemies

Mike Brodie - “Vanessa”
My friend just recently told me to look up Mike Brodie and his photography, and this particular picture just struck a chord with me.
On the left, you have a beautiful, if not slightly dishevelled, girl looking earnestly into the camera, almost taunting you with her eyes and hands (or are her hands raised defensively?)
On the right, you have Orwell’s classic 1984, a book that I love and is great example of a work of science-fiction.

I’m creating this Tumblr to inspire me to begin to write creatively again. I just feel like in the past year I’ve completely stopped any creative outlet in my life, and I want to start it again to make myself feel a lot better.

I’ve been writing ever since I can remember, and even though I may not be the best writer, I really do enjoy it, and I hope that one day other people can too.

Anyway, this will really just be a big collection of writing and inspirations for my stories.

I hope you enjoy it, whoever you are.
